It’s “Toob amplifier” by the presidents of the united states) ok. so that’s the big surprise…..I got a presonus preamp-now coupled with the groovy little microverb someone loaned me… I noticed a huge difference in sound tonight during worship. My bow was weird though, I wonder if it was the humidity affecting the rosin, it felt kind of mushy. The part I didn’t mention was the spontaneous/random/serendipitous/divine shopping trip at guitar center with the Violet Burning on Tuesday. Michael, Chris and Lenny (via phone) removed some of the mystery of preamps, pickups and otherwise cheap crap. I guess I’ll have to try to get a hold of Black Cherry if I ever want bass pointers.
