It’s here and was worth every penny restoring it. I’m only sorry that I didn’t take a picture of it before it went to ‘the man’. It’s beautiful. It’s like playing a toy, it’s so light! And ‘the man’ said that it’s a LONG violin…1/4″ longer than the longest size. I celebrated by playing Crooked Still’s “wind and rain” and the whole “clap your hands say yeah” album.
No picture yet.
Now I need a pick-up…not a truck…the kind that makes a violin all electrical and stuff.
Anybody want to buy a 60 year old viola? She’s the one I never play, talk about, and basically ignore.
Emma has taken some violin classes at school and is now determined she wants to get a violin. She’s bugging me to get her one.
