- My studio smells like Goo Gone. Funny thing is, it’s kind of making me hungry.
- Bob just scrubbed off one side of the glittery residue I affectionately refer to as the drag-queen eyeshadow on Big Girl Viola. She looks nice. Bob must be bored or just showing me how much he loves me. He left one side on. Now she looks like Paul Stanley.
- Got the confirmation e-mail that the violin restoration parts shipped to ‘the man’ today. YAY!
- MySpace is a time sucker. And I’m not sure it’s even worth it. I have to be a rocket scientist to try to make it look decent and am frankly losing interest. Might be time for another ‘Haitus’ (intentional mis spelling)
- A foot of snow is landing upon us right now and I’m actually quite thrilled. I hope we all get snowed in again like this weekend and none of us have to go to work. Wouldn’t it be cool if we got so much snow, we had to crawl out the windows to get out? Ok. Maybe that would suck.

Your last bullet-point reminded me of the lyrics The Arcad Fire’s song “Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels) off of ‘Funeral’:
And if the snow buries my,
my neighborhood.
And if my parents are crying
then I’ll dig a tunnel
from my window to yours,
yeah a tunnel from my window to yours.
You climb out the chimney
and meet me in the middle,
the middle of the town.
And since there’s no one else around,
we let our hair grow long
and forget all we used to know,
then our skin gets thicker
from living out in the snow.

man, those are some heavy lyrics. And I love them. Guess I have to find that song…I don’t have it in my mental file.
