you know, it’s hard to believe sometimes that stivy is the new bass player for low. that (*) was in my band in high school for cryin’ out loud. we were a todd bridges’ relief band called willis.
and now he’s got gigs in antwerp. antwerp!!! this sort of thing doesn’t happen to people you know.
sorry. that just kind of came out. i grew up in duluth, so… low is kind of a homegrown thing. how did you first come across them and then find them enjoyable enough to mention on your blog? i mean, i know they’ve got a following now… just curious when your love affair started.

Low-not really a love affair…not even really a distant starry eyed glance across a crowded room. My rockstar friend at work says we’re better than them (?)so I had to find out more about them. (ie: bluer allstar band) and he says he has lots of friends that are into them…but they are just too mellow for him. I think he was trying to give me a compliment after he heard a recording of us jamming and turning a Mute Math song into a big old jam. I don’t really even know what they sound like except for a few snippets I heard on their website.
