Day 15 of the cold. I started by refusing to give it power over my life (denial)…then it totally kicked my butt…and then it kinda went away….and now it is back, and thinks it’s the boss of me again. Chest cold…go away! I actually got SENT home from work yesterday because I sound like have tuberculosis. I’ve given up on herbal remedies. I’m taking (2) mucinex, 24 hour sudafed, and a multivitamin…and drinking about a gallon of tea a day (as usual).
No, I didn’t breathe on the cookies last night, that wouldn’t have been very nice.

I personally think sudafed is of the devil…my doctor told me sudafed was the reason I almost had to have my sinuses drilled, but instead was put on prednisone…just FYI. But Mucinex is good!! I think they actually work against each other though…one dries the other one drains.

I sympathize with you–my cold came back with revenge yesterday, as if two weeks over Thanksgiving wasn’t enough. Between the two of us, we’ll keep the kleenex companies in business (Heather did her part last weekend)!

ok. I was LICKING the cookie and I guess technically breathing on it at the same time. But then I ate it, as not to poison the others.
And Sudafed probably is evil. Mucinex is doing nothing. Maybe the evil sudafed is taking away mucinex’s magical powers. The nurse told me to take them at the same time because there is a constant river of gunk going from my sinus into my lungs. Dry/Drain… do both please!
And yes, Jess. I’m afraid we have the same sinister virus. Unfortunately Anna has it now too.

I hope you all feel better soon!!! Hey - I haven’t heard anything about the netty pot lately…do you still use that? Although at this point, it probably wouldn’t do any good anyway. I do hope you all get better soon. Im praying for you guys!
